Due to the above, they do need to spend a lot of time in the gym since they stay fit thanks to their highly active lifestyle. The gym is a mere addition to their already well-shaped bodies.

Surprisingly, they are stylish!

I say surprisingly since you might think about how they give in to the cultural background and influence wearing only the traditional clothes.

However, this is not the case with your target group, i.e. young Moroccan guys.

To be honest, when I just arrived in Morocco I had my doubts about Moroccans. Us the Westerners are influenced by a somewhat wrong representation of these men.

We tend to believe they are “extreme” in everything they do just because they are Muslims. Still, I realised in no time that they are quite liberal considering the circumstances.

1. Gentlemen Rating

As for their gentleman traits, we are fully misled about the issue. During my stay, rarely have I seen a woman struggling with bags or suitcases.

The males alongside, whether fiancé or other family members, always took care of that leaving the women to only care about haggling (learn this since you will need it when you hit the local souqs).

Next, with a Moroccan, you get free meals anywhere you go. They consider it as a sign of hospitality if they pay for the meals since you are a guest.

Even when the door closes, he will be fully respectful and caring.

2. Integrity

While it is true they do not give up their beliefs, a Moroccan boyfriend will not impose any conditions in terms of religious conversion. He’ll stick to what he believes in, and will let you stick to yours.

In Moroccan culture, the male is the head of the family but still, he will heed counsel from his family members. However, once he has made his decision he will stand by it and will keep the given promise.

3. Loyalty

During my stay in Morocco, I often heard question what are Moroccan men like in relationships? since their religion allows them to take four fives, all legal.

Well, some of the men will be disappointed to hear that hot Moroccan guys in vast majority choose to take one wife only and remain loyal.

Besides the romantic relationships, they are loyal in every other aspect.

4. Honesty

Thanks to the deeply rooted religious beliefs (i.e. good moral principles) in their conscience, when dating Moroccan guys, you will not have any issues with their dishonesty.

Of course, a local salesman will try to sell you something overpriced, but otherwise, you will not have to worry about him hiding stuff from you.

Even if he does something you don’t like he will man up and admit his mistake.

5. How Protective are They?

Even from their early days, Moroccan boys are raised to take care of and protect the ones weaker from themselves.

So, once you end up dating a Moroccan guy, you will never feel like you are alone. He will be there for you in any situation.

He will protect you from the bad things and from other men too. This is not to say he is jealous (well, he is a bit), he just won’t let others disrespect you.

6. Are they resourceful?

Again, Moroccan guys are raised to be the providers in the house. This is not something you can take away from them. He will not stop you from working yourself but he will still want to feel like “the man” of the house.

7. Maturity

I have to give and 8/10 here since they might strike you as boyish and immature when you first meet them.

Namely, they are overprotected by their mothers and female family members in general, so until they decide to settle down with someone they spend their days having fun with friends.

Still, once you win their heart he will be all serious.

8. Self-confidence

Know that there must be reciprocity since he will not impose his beliefs on you so you should not try to convince him to change just because you don’t understand something.

Also, know that Moroccan dating culture is rather different from what we are used to in the West.

So, your dates might be very awkward at first and it won’t feel like dating at all as single Moroccan men have their own way of doing stuff.

But give it some time.

Once you are alone, don’t be aggressive like us Westerners are often prone to.

Moreover, as their women are reserved in the public, at home they are the complete opposite.

4. Language Barrier

The Arabic language is considered as one of the hardest languages to learn due to complicated phonemes.
